FST 232

Food Process Engineering I

Pros: Knowledgeable about her subject. Willing to work out any problems with her students and answer questions.

Cons: Hard to understand her English. Tends to talk off topic and it can be hard to get her back on topic. Her tests can take a long time to complete (I didn't finish two of her three exams in time)

This class has no business being only 3 units. You need more than two 1-hour lectures and a lab per week on this stuff! Looking over the material in the book on your own is very difficult if you don't speak math (lots of integrals and derivatives). Interpolation is also a really big thing that you will need to be able to do.

Pros: Great professor and really knowledgeable! She is really understanding and tries her best to work with you. Li adjusts the lectures according to how much the class knows. Very reasonable class! If you do your work and study you can easily pull off an A or a B. Take her if you get a chance. I learned a lot!

Cons: Can get distracted in lectures and ramble on

Pros: Gives out study guides for the exams and the "pop quizzes" are just for review no grade

Cons: Can be hard to understand sometimes and also tends to go pretty fast
