Pros: Comprehensible lecturer, even though she has an Indian accent. Highly informative.
No homework on paper.
Cons: Lecture quizzes everyday.
Lab quiz every week.
1 Research Report.
1 Unknown Bacteria Project.
Lab exams and tests have fill-in-the-blank without work bank.
Requires a lot of study time.
She's mean when you ask her questions; like you're an idiot. She put her students on blast.
This rating is for her Microbiology 211 course. I only put "frequently" on homework just because she gives us quizzes every day, so studying counts. I put easy because you just have to really study her lectures. I would put moderate because it's difficult to keep up... this class requires a lot of work and study... more so because of the lab! Her tests are difficult, because you have to STUDY EVERYTHING. She's a great teacher, and she sincerely wants you to do well but this class required so much time and work. She's nice, but when you ask her questions during lab, she's so MEAN.

Pros: She's extremely knowledgeable about microbiology. She's a legit microbiologist herself, after all. She's always willing to help you, and responds to emails quickly.
Cons: This class isn't easy, in a sense that you have to read a lot for this class. There's a quiz every class, and a lab quiz every week. Labs are long, because she takes the time to explain the procedure, which does help.
She's friendly, very anal about laboratory procedures, definitely challenges you to put in the work to study hard. Her tests consists of fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, and true or false questions. You'll definitely be needing the textbook and the lab book for the class. She has her lectures in powerpoint format, and she posts up the quiz answers online so you can look over them again.
