There is a lot of reading in the class, but she does a good job choosing interesting books. Class is just a big discussion on the previous night's reading- participation is 25% of your grade.

Stansell is one of the best professors I've had at Clemson. She makes the class actually enjoyable and picks readings and novels that are really good! Almost every class is an open discussion which is really great.

Pros: She's nice
Cons: She HATES people who are late! she will mark you absent if you are like 2 min late
You don't always have to read. If you can talk about the works in class you are good. The two papers you write are what determine your grade so make sure you kill those!
