Advanced First Year Business Seminar

Great professor. She tries to make the class fun by telling random stories that can sometimes be related to the topic. She shares her personal experience with certain areas of finance. Attendance is no required, but she has taken attendance when over half the class was missing. Homework assignments are easy if you at least have working knowledge of personal finance and pay attention during class.

this review will be just like the rest. Jodi is awesome. She takes the time to really help students prepare for the real world and her classes are always fun and interesting. Homework was really easy and could be completed in less than 30 mins. I would def. take her for any class that she offered.

The Drexel Experience

Jodi is one of the BEST business teachers in all of Lebow! She really makes class fun and is easy to talk to. Although the class I took with her wasn't a substantial, hard core class, it mattered because she really helped us fix up our resumes.



Jodi has been the only person to give me real, useful feedback on my resume and actually provides comments on essays and the work I hand in to her.



She graded really light in UNIV 101; basically as long as you turn in your work, you get 100%.



Attendance in the class was important because there really weren't that many grades for that class to begin with. As long as you went to class, you get an A.



I don't care what class it is, if she teaches it, I'd take it!!

Jodi is a very helpful student. She taught us in BUSN 102 Honor section, and the class had so much fun. Together with Dana, Jodi provided many interesting projects and homework. I especially like the case studies she assigned. Reading them helps boost your knowledge about real business environment. She often told her own stories that are related to the lessons, and it really helped students remember things. Also, she is an easy grader, so you don't have to worry so much, as long as you put efforts to your work. Believe me, you're gonna love this professor and may end up study well partly because you don't want to let her down.

101 and 102 classes are pretty standard because all sections have to pretty much do the same assignments but jodi gets you involved and interested in the material and related to our everyday lives. She is really casual but makes sure you know what you are doing and love helping students out with whatever from which concentration to choose, ect. Definitely one of the best teachers at Drexel. She teaches a few 103 courses that really interesting and make you actually want to come to class! I took on on the Gambling industry and a friend took one on personal finance..if you can take her!

If more professors were as enthusiastic and caring about our education, we would all love learning. She stands out among the rest. There are nice instructors and there are mean ones. She goes above and beyond to be quality and unique. You enjoy who she is as well as the business material she happens to preach. Only because of her can I continuously earn 94% on each exam. Thank you for being the one instructor, so early in my college career to make me feel like I deserve to be here.

She's a bit un-organize and always come to class late. Despite of these things , she's one of the best professors I have had at Drexel so far, She's a great teacher , makes class fun , alot more relaxisve compared with other business professors , I think her democratice style of teaching yield better result compared to those authoritarian style of teachers. SHe's also very understanding , lastly SHE'S GREAT!

very very very easy grader....ur an idiot if u dont get an A....

she isnt particular.....all she looks for is the best in her students....

some people say she is ditzy by the way she presents herself....but amazingly thats one of the things i love about her....she's a real person....and a far far contrast to other stuck up business teachers....

she is really cool, does expect you to do work. its not much but if you do it you will be fine. i had her at 8 ocklock in the morning and if it was any one else i wouldnt have ever woke up! really nice and encourages class debate to further every ones knowledge. definetly take her for anything you can fit in and you will not regret it at all!!!!

MATH 100
Fundamentals of Mathematics

This was the first time Jodi has taught math and I think she did a fairly good job. I had to drop this class last term because the professor did not actually teach but Jodi breaks everything down and explains it fully, which is what I needed (hence why I am in math 100). She makes class fun and truely cares about her students. Take her!

Great Professor!!



She really cares about her students and instead of lecturing straight from the textbook..adds in lots of tid bits from her experience on Wall Street. Work load isnt bad at all and shes a fair grader as long as you put in some effort, easy A!!

she is a great teacher. sometimes a little late or disorganized, but she gets through all of the material and is a very understanding person. Her workload is the light side of medium and definitely reasonable. I recommend taking her class.

Awesome teacher! She really explains everything, and adds a lot of her own experiences. She is a fair grader, and as long as you semi know what you are talking about gives you credit. If you have the chance to take her, do it!

Pros: Just as great as she was in BUS 101.
Cons: None.
Busn 102 consists of Mike's Bikes only. We have 3 exams, but the material is concentrated on much less. Mike's bikes is a fun simulation and we have several fantastic guest speakers.
