There are 4 tests, plus the final, but you can drop one test. (Not the final). Dr. Williams typically gives a 2 point curve on every test, and extra credit once or maybe twice a semester. The book was used much more in his A&P I class than in this one. Some people use the text as their only lab book which makes it much more necessary if you plan on doing that. In all, he is a wonderful teacher and highly entertaining.

Pros: Very funny guy, knows his stuff, doesn't try to overwhelm you with terminology or trick you on tests, but expects you to LEARN the material rather than just regurgitate information.
Cons: Sometimes he gets so off-topic it's hard to pay attention, but it begins innocently enough (trying to make an anology to help remember a complicated structure).

Pros: Best teacher I have ever had. His lectures are worth every minute you spend in his class. I learned so much from him, and he is so invested in his students learning.
Cons: He gives no powerpoints or notes. You have to take your own notes, which makes you very accountable.

Pros: Knowledgable man, very amusing
Cons: The handouts are lists you're supposed to recognize on the exam, but the diagrams in the room aren't exactly like the models (which never have a number key), so a lot of clarification and studying is needed.

Pros: He is absolutely hilarious! He compares things to food to help you understand.
Cons: Exams are pretty hard!! You have to study EVERYTHING that he talks about. But be careful because he words things differently on the exam! It's really confusing!
