He's a great teacher and he knows everything about everywhere. He's been all over the world and his lectures can be very interesting. He teaches off slides but the notes you take in class and the majority of info on the tests are directly from his lectures. You must attend class to get a good grade. I personally felt like some info on the tests werent mentioned in his lectures but who know the man talks fast. He's tests arent easy and you have to study hard but overall its not hard to pull a B in his class.

His tests are really really hard, and even though it is only a 1000 level course, and an elective he tries to make it a 4000 level course with the amount of information you have to memorize for the tests. It is a really hard class to pass, I would advise either using a different teacher or taking another class.

Pros: He has actually BEEN to every place he teaches about, which is refreshing. He's really giving his students the "truth", not just his opinion, or what he selects as important.
PICK THE ATTENDANCE PLAN (K-PLAN) SYLLABUS!! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO FAIL THE CLASS!

Pros: This guy is AWESOME! If you don't have a stick up your a**, then you'll love him. Tests are directly from his lectures, so you must go everyday.
Cons: You can't be a second late to class, or you will be humiliated. Go to class everyday because you'll miss 2 pages of notes, and the notes will be on the test.
