Overall a great teacher, very intelligent. His teaching style is not the most organized as he just stands up front and lectures. He posts slides online however he always ends up having about ten extra slides in class that are not posted. As long as you go to class, do the homework, and study a little you will get an A

It is a very challenging class. Great if you love Political Science, if not, then this class may be a struggle. There are homework assignments every week that are always graded. The professor is very knowledgable but also very monotone which makes the class extremely boring.

He knows his stuff, however I feel like he would be a thousand times better in a smaller class setting. Lecturing doesn't seem to be his style. However he is incredibly knowledgeable and very approachable.

Pros: Prof. Golder uses the same tests over and over again as well as the same homework, so needless to say the class was pretty easy. He also doesn't give out different exam forms which make things very easy for people who don't study which was a little frustrating for those of us who do, but nice for everyone else.
Cons: Professor Golder is very proud of being a European and often downtalks American policy which can be a little annoying after dealing with it for a full semester. He's also very hard to listen to in lecture.

Pros: He is an incredibly intelligent professor and he knows how to translate the material so that people can conceptualize it.
Cons: While I never had a problem with him some people did not enjoy the material and therefore thought he was too difficult.
I highly recommend taking this professor, he was one of the best i have ever had for political science.
