Really hard tests... Very challenging stuff he brings to the table. All questions on the test are questions that are complicated examples of the examples studied. Weeds you out before orgo... I got a B-, A in chem2, A in orgo... Trust me, this is a hard class... especially to start out in your science career

Cons: Not an effective teacher in general. Tests are wicked. Says things will NOT be on the test and then puts them on the test. Tests are not reflective of material covered. It's like a game.
Take any other section but Kearley. No matter what.

Cons: i don't care what anyone tells you, don't take his class unless you want to kill your GPA. I'm about to graduate and his class is the only blemish on my transcript.
tests are unnecessarily hard, he's the professor that doesn't want to answer questions or teach really at all, he just wants to prove to you how much he knows and how much you won't learn in his class. he may seem nice, but his tests are unfair and not reflective of any of the GENERAL chem material.
