The best physics professor I ever had. He covers the material with good examples either on Power Point or actual problems on the board. He even goes out of his way to bring in equipment to demonstrate actual physics. He is one of the few professors I know who will spend two hours after class with you just to make sure you learned the material. Don't take this class expecting an easy A, cause your an idiot if you think there is a shortcut to physics. Barreto is completely fair, if the grader made a mistake then he will award you points on a test. Another good note is he is really a good teacher, just follow exactly what he says and you will pass. Don't take this class if your not going to do the homework and make sure you stay after and ask questions cause then you learn some good tricks.

HORRIBLE, just as bad as oerter. Half the class fails the midterms and the homework and quizes don't accurately reflect the exam problems.
