Reminded me of Michael Scott from The Office. The class itself is boring as hell, but it's a boring subject. PowerPoints are FILLED with information, and it's easy to teach yourself the content. Just do the homework, pay a LITTLE attention in lab, and study all of the practice exams before the tests. In-class attendance quizzes, and you can use cheat sheets on recitation quizzes and tests. You can only blame yourself for doing bad in this class with the amount of information you have at your disposal.

Pros: Lectures with Prof. Singer can get very long winded and dreary, and roughly 10% of the grade for is based on attending them. His knowledge of statistics is about average. The class is exceptionally easy if you practice and attend recitations (where quizzes are administered) and lectures.
Cons: The class is demanding in terms of the required attendance. Also, the lectures can be convoluted at times, which is slightly annoying to endure if you are the kind of person who thinks ordinary material should not be overcomplicated and obscured.

Pros: easy class with minimal work
Cons: Boring! Singer loves to hear himself talk!
This is a fairly easy class however Singer makes it terribly boring! I had it for 3 hours every friday, and he would keep us in class for the entire time with only a 5 minute break. The exams are somewhat straightforward, he realizes when questions are too weird and throws them out. exams are not cumulative and the homework was a piece of cake.

For everything he teaches, he includes a million extra what-if scenarios which can be helpful if you are struggling, but will bore you if you understand right away. Definitely a high school level course. The second test is difficult however, so prepare well.

Pros: Pretty easy subject.
Cons: Boring subject and pretty long class.
Take him if you want to get an easy A, but make sure you get a good lab instructor too.
