Boring as all get out. He reads straight from the slides and the only time I learned anything is when Dr. Cox had to sub for him. I had him with El-Sayed who is much more enthusiastic, but has an accent and can be difficult to understand. I would say get to Cox if you can, but even if you can't you can go to his lectures when you need to.

Pros: It's a big lecture, so he just ignores you and talks all class, which means you can pretty much do whatever you want. Also, he speaks normal English.
Cons: He is boring as sin. You'll find the textbook way more useful/interesting than his lectures, which is amazing since he pretty much just reads the book. His PowerPoints are useless.
Unfortunately, you won't really have much of a choice with him, since two out of three CHEM 1310 lectures feature him. Just hold on until El-Sayed swaps in, it gets (somewhat) better.

Pros: PRS questions were kind of easy.
Cons: He was horrible at preparing you for exams. I was better off teaching myself everything and not even listening to him.
I would never take another class from him. I managed to pull a B, but it was a bit of a miracle.

He is a horrible lecturer. After the first exam I stopped going to class because it was not helpful at all. I suggest taking someone else and rearranging your schedule if you get him.

Pros: The first test is easy if you took chemistry in high school!
Cons: The other tests and the finals are not so easy, which makes it difficult to grade replace.
