He is a very good professor. Not only will you learn about history, you learn some little known facts that have occurred. He enjoys when the class is interactive in the lesson, so it helps to read the assigned sections in the textbook. You will need to be in class everyday if you want to do well in his class. Tests are based on lectures given. If you work hard and attend class, you will definitely pass his class. :)

Pros: He's a caring professor toward your grades and how well you do in the class. He knows his stuff and clearly explains what to write down for your notes. He uses very few powerpoint slides and is mostly lecturing the whole time but he is funny and knows how to keep people interested in the subject. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Baker. He actually made me want to learn World History.

best history class ive ever taken. (im a bio major and hate history.) dont freak out about the attendance policy. as long as you let him know you wont be in class he wont care. just dont do it all the time. i think i missed 4 classes and had to leave early twice.
