Entertaining
Solberg is a great teacher. He provides outlines to lectures that you fill out as the lecture goes then tells you what is relevant to the tests and what is not. I really enjoy the class, he keeps me interested and gives great examples which help a lot on the exams. I would definitely take him if given the chance.

Quite literally the most entertaining professor I have ever had. Very down to earth. You will learn a lot and legitimately enjoy going to class. To take FIL185 with anyone other than this guy is a terrible life decision

Pros: 4 Exams, a lot of extra credit, very easy homework assignments, very funny teacher
Cons: rambles about stuff not on the test but stories usually apply somehow to law
best teacher I have had at ISU so far

You have to study a decent amount and be able to apply the material if you want a good grade in this class
