Pros: Vivian is the best A100 professor

She curves the midterm and final usually

Very friendly
Cons: Definitely a difficult 8 week course

Time consuming

Only grades are attendance, midterm and final.
A-100 is a difficult class. If you are preparing for the midterm and think you're ready, you probably aren't. Read every chapter more than once, prepare flashcards, re-do every practice test twice, and make sure to attend every review session to get any questions answered. The midterm is difficult, but by no means impossible. People just do not prepare themselves and that's why A-100 is seen as such a hard class. Vivian is a great prof.

Pros: She is always cheery, and is like a warm hug from a grandma. She really does care about her students.
Cons: Her warm attitude can inspire a false sense of security, her tests are intended to trick you. In a way, the test is indeed out to get you. She doesn't let you know the full impact of "if you understand the account, you should know what to do" entails. In all reality, you must memorize formulas, and you must read everything at least twice.
A100 is a weed-out class... if you fail, you only have yourself to blame.

Pros: You have to take it
Cons: Really hard if you don't particularly enjoy accounting
Personally this is the class that made me drop out of Kelley, don't take unless you are 100% sure you want to go into business.

Good teacher that takes time to show you how to do balance sheets
Cons: Lots of stuff on test that isn't talked abotu in class.

A lot of people drop out
