Pros: She loves what she is teaching, if you like being in a class where the teacher actually KNOWS what they are talking about CHOOSE DANOS! She is so willing to help people and loves to know that people are learning. If you feel like the GA graded your Case Study unfairly, she will easily go over it with you and generously give points where she feels you did well.
The class itself has a lot of discussion that goes on, but that makes it easier to learn. Danos isn't worried about her time constraints on tests and will push them back if she feels she didn't cover enough. She gives extra credit questions on the final as well as all the homework is for extra credit.

Pros: if you take BLAW, take it with Danos. she might not be the easiest teacher, but she's the best. use to book study guide for the exams, do the study questions, and participate in class. she gives bonus for participation and completion of all the study questions. she also gives bonus for perfect attendance, so go to class. all of these are each worth 1 percentage point on your final grade. Danos is one of the better professors i've had.
Cons: it's a pretty reading-intensive course. you've got to study a pretty good bit for the final. i've heard of other teachers who are a bit more memorization-oriented.

Pros: She's a very seasoned professor and provides real life examples to help you gian a better understanding of the material.
Cons: Homework due almost every class
If you keep up with the homework, go to most of the classes and don't wait until the last minute to study you should do well in this class.

Great teacher. Danos really knows her stuff. Intense lady but you learn a lot in her class. I would recommend her for BLAW.

Danos is really interesting and keeps you engaged. Make sure you go to class because she'll notice if you don't. The material can be a lot but she reviews it for you in class and that's one of the benefits of going.
