Freeman is awesome. He is very generous when it comes to curving tests. To prepare for his exams all you have to do is do the online quizzes, 90% of the test questions can be found word for word from the website he provides the class with.

Pros: great sense of humor, makes the class fun and enjoyable

reviews before every test

curved 3/4 tests by at least 6 points

offers extra credit (percentage points) through surveys online

Cons: the class has about 800 people in it

tests are taken in the testing center, so there is a 200 question bank for a 50 question test
has Clicker questions in class that he tells you the answers to; these are on the tests.

Also, the multiple choice and true/false questions on the book's website are on the test; makes it easier to prepare

Pros: He is a funny teacher and an awesome guy if you go to his office hours, and he makes class interesting. And he drops the lowest test grade so if you are happy with you're grade after your third test and have all your participation clicks you are done with class on November 18th and don't have to take the final.
Cons: He will NOT bump you up, I had a 89.2 so I have to take the final, and I go to his office hours once a week and take notes like crazy and he still wouldn't bump me.

Pros: You never have any work to do.

Participation points with clickers.
Cons: He talks WAY too fast. Sometimes it's really hard to take notes on an exam review day.
The class is really easy. If you don't study the notes or go to class though, you won't do that well. His exams are extremely straightforward.

Pros: The guy is like Bill Cosby in his early years. Funny and very very friendly. He likes to stay and talk after class and is very appreciative of people trying in his class.
Cons: Class is boring. And some of the questions on the test are a bit opinionated. Test is very hard though!
You have to get a clicker for his class and click almost every day your there. I think on fridays though he gives extra points for clicking. Test are computer based and participation is the only other grade in the class.

Pros: Entertaining

Easy Points
Cons: Can get boring
Go to class, Get clicker points. Make sure you study for the first test because its hard as hell. Generally curves 5% points or so for test and curves the final class grade as well usually. Also I recommend not being late or leaving early. He will pull you to the front of the class and talk to you with the microphone.

Cons: The tests weren't always easy. It takes some studying to pull off an A.

Pros: Easy A, after you get your 100 clicker participation points you don't have to go to class
Cons: Tests can be somewhat tricky
Lowest test is dropped so you don't have to take final if satisfied with grade, a lot of test questions come from online questions that are verbatim. Definitely an easy B, try a little bit and a easy A
