Gregg just read off the power point and you took notes. Attendance is monitored by clicker questions which help your grade. The test are hard so studying nightly is important. He gave in class clicker questions and a lot of the tests came from these questions and the quizes that he would give. All testing and quizes are online.

Pros: Homework and Clickers are an easy way to boost your grade.
Cons: Notes provided on moodle are not comprehensive. You have to go to class in order to fill in the blanks.
If you review the Mastering biology activities/quizzes, clicker questions, notes, you should do well on the tests. Tests are very similar to the practice test and sometimes the questions are the same. Comprehensive notes are available on noteswap.

Pros: the tests are computerized, so my whole dorm had the previous years test questions which really helped. (memorize them and you'll get an A)
Cons: If you don't have last years test the tests suck. I studied way more for my first test with out having the past test questions and made a D. The rest of the tests i made A's on only because I had past years test questions

Pros: He is really knowledgeable and truly has a love for biology.
Cons: He is the only professor teaching BIO 1001 that does not curve. He is also hard to get in contact with.
Due to the fact that he doesn't curve, if you can get another professor, I would encourage you to do so.
