INTRO MGT INF SYSTMS
Professor Plaisance is an extremely easy instructor. He uses clickers for attendance and the main part of the class is done through MYITLAB.COM. The midterm and the final is from the powerpoint lectures which are attached on Moodle and they contain everything needed for the test. TAKE HIM!

Take him. This is an easy A as long as you do the work. When it comes to midterms and finals you will not use anything you learned in class or on the Microsoft Office exams, which is good because alot of the Office exams, especially Excel, seems to be what drops alot of students grades. But he sends out a link for you to study the material. The study guide on the link is verbatim to the test. He has to be the best teacher on campus. As we speak I am using that link to study for his exam for this weeks final in his class. Oh and Geaux Tigers!!!

Pros: A very easy class that only meets once a week and you don't even have to go to that if you don't want and it will not affect your grade at all. If you miss an exam and have an excuse you get to take a makeup at the end of the semester for full credit. If you miss an exam and have no excuse you get to take a makeup at the end of the semester for 1/2 credit.
Cons: None really besides the midterm and final are a little harder because they are on a lot of information.
It is all computer based testing.

Pros: Information is useful in everyday life.
Cons: Class is boring ecause he just reads off the slides.
This class is pretty easy. A long as you do the homework and do the pre-tests multiple times you will do fine in the class. He does give attendance/partication points so it's a good idea to go to class for the extra points. All he asks is for you to email him with your name and "here" in the subject line.

Pros: You only meet once a week and you for an hour but you get 3 credits.
Cons: The exercises on myitlab are easy but take a long time to do.
do the exercises and pretests and you'll do fine on the tests. Excel is a bit hard so study harder for that one. For the midterm and final, do the online study guide and study his powerpoints.

Pros: Easy A as long as you keep up.
Cons: Class only happens once a week every other week, so its easy to forget when assignments are due.
Go to class, the participation helps. Also, keep up with the assignments, skrew up on one and you hurt yourself for the whole semester.

Pros: Just do your practices and pretests and you'll do fine in the class. Nice guy.
Cons: You must go to class to get participation points but you only meet 7 or 8 times.
Take this class, its an easy A if you're good with computers and a B if not.

The Microsoft office portion of this class is relatively easy. The midterm and final, however, were difficult. The midterm had questions that weren't taught until the final and also asked questions that I had never seen before.

Pros: Microsoft Office all semester except for Final and Midterm. No projects. Gives extra credit for attendance throughout the semester.
Cons: Teaches quite fast like we're supposed to know it all already.

Cons: None really.
He does attendance checks, but you'll get bonus points if there.
