The class is in an auditorium anthat seats around 800 people and there are probably 600 in the class. Speaks in monotone and has an accent that u have to really pay attention to hear. Material is really boring and he isn't a very interesting lecturer. he reminds me of the teacher in charlie brown. Extremely easy to cheat in his class and everyone does. 2 proctors in an auditorium of 600 students. 3 25-question exams and 2 2-page essays. I would recommend this class only because ur entire grade is based of 5 things and u don't have to go to class.

Pros: He knows his art...
Cons: Everything he teaches is on his powerpoint slides. He teaches straight from the slides, so it's very boring. On top of that, his class is one of the first ones in the morning, so that doesn't help keep you awake.
I like Dr. Spieth, I just don't like art. It bores me. And I'm not a morning person. Thank goodness all of his slides are online!

Pros: EXTREMELY EASY
Cons: The most boring class I have ever been to in my whole life! I literally never go.
This class is so boring but if you want an easy A take it! As long as you study the straightforward notes its smooth sailing! The two projects are two short papers which aren't hard at all.

Pros: Easy Class. show up for class because attendance was actually taken (even though we had a class of 900 this semester). Great guy, pretty goofy haha he made class fun.
Cons: No curving. Material is boring unless you really like memorizing specifics on countless works of art

Pros: Attendance was only 1% of your grade. Tests were relatively easy. He was a nice, charismatic professor.
Cons: Slides contained so much material to cover. Not a lot of ways to improve your grade, just tests. Material got boring and redundant.
Good but boring class.
