She can get incredibly boring and monotonous during her lectures at times, but overall she's a good teacher. She puts all her notes online and provides a study guide for each exam (only 4 with me). Plus, the last exam isn't cumulative. She also has a thick Russian accent, yet is easy to understand.

I highly recommend you take this class. I am a average student with a 3.28 gpa. In this class I got a 4.0. The class is not a blow off class, however, if you study the notes the good notes she gives you and do her study you can get a 3.5 to a 4.0. But you need to study just like every class in college. For some people like the comment previously posted. You will not find it necessary to even show up to class, because she gives you all the notes and information. However, if you need extra help you just listen to her lectures in class to supplement your understanding of the material. She is a nice approachable person. She gives very fair exams and they will be easy if you study. She is very fair unlike some other professors in ISS classes I heard of. This class is a guarantee 4.0 or at least a 3.5 if you put forth the effort. Like I said I highly reccomend this class.

The class is super easy. Her lectures are painfully boring, don't bother going. The exams are strictly based on what is on the slides. She doesn't say anything extra in class that you are missing out on. I went every once in a while just to see what was going on or when there was going to be a movie because there was always a question or two on the exam about it.

I really enjoyed this class with Brikena! The lectures a little boring, but she gives you everything you need to know for the exams! Don't worry about buying the books because you honestly do not need them!! Before every exam she hands out a review with everything you need to know! I got 100% on the final and all i studied was the study guide. I highly reccomend this class with Brikena!

An OK professor, she posts the notes online so you really don't have to go. She also reads exactly what's on the Word document so that's another reason not to go. There are a lot of movies to watch in this class and it's nice because she provides a study guide and summary for every exam. An easy 3.5+

Didn't really like her, but the class is an easy 4.0. Shes not very approachable and you don't need to go to class or get the book. I didn't even study for the final and got a 4 in the class. I would recommend taking this class with her, but don't expect extra help.

She provides most/if not all the reading material for you.

Boring class. Boring instructor. Easy, though.
