Introduction to Chemical Principles
Pros: really smart teacher who can actually teach the material
Cons: the material can get really hard especially if you haven't taken a college chem class before. the tests can be worse

use all notes and problem sets for tests, book is only a supplement. do the problem sets well and you'll do well on the test.

Professor Brown is brilliant. Take any of his classes that you can! You will be forced to work very hard, but will learn a lot.
