FUND AUDIO VIDEO PRODUCTION

Pros: Quizzes are online and open-book, exams are quiz questions, and lab projects are graded easily.
Cons: He gets annoyed when people don't know what they're doing in the lab, even though he doesn't explain half of it to you.
Jack's great and knows what he's talking about, but the class can get very boring. Show up anyways to get attendance credit, and lab projects are easy. Make sure you learn how to do everything in the studio or he'll get angry when you don't know what you're doing.

Pros: Very nice professor. Cool class - he's the only one that teaches it though. The weekly, online quizzes are the EXACT questions on the midterm and final..so print them out and memorize them.
Cons: He gives very minimal instructions, be prepared teach yourself EVERYTHING. Gets annoyed when you don't understand things that he's never explained. Grades kind of tough considering you had to figure out everything on your own.

LIVE FIELD PRODUCTION

Class seemed wholly irrelevant the first four or five weeks, but it soon picked up very quickly. If you take this course, get on top of your work quickly because it will pile up near the broadcast and will become very draining. Not too hard, just a lot of work for one two-hour show.

Pros: Almost every assignment in the class is a topic of your choice.
Cons: He never tells you what your grades are. All year long I had no idea what I had in his class.
As long as you put effort into the work, you should pass with an A or a B.

Attendance is a huge factor in his class, so be sure to go to each class and on time. A lot of out of class work is involved.
