Fundamentals Of Biology I
This class WILL be hard if you don't keep up with the book reading. If you actually go to lecture and read the book, then you'll be laughing at your classmates when they complain about how terribly they did on the exams. Trust me, I didn't read the book for the first two exams, but I did for the third one. The first two I got C's on and the third one I got an A+... Read the book.

Fundamentals Of Biology I
Great professor. The whole biology department is extremely well run and the professors actually want you to succeed. There is a lot of information given to you, but all exam and quiz questions come straight from lecture. Dr. Bos really loves his job and although lecture can be boring if you aren't interested in biology, it's much more interesting than other lectures.

Pros: very willing to help answer any questions you have, both in lecture and at office hours.
Cons: tests and quizzes require comprehension of the material, so you need to put in a good amount of effort in order to get an A.
very nice, very apporachable professor. lectures are very well organized. he is a clear communicator; i have no problems hearing/understanding him in lecture.

Pros: He's a very learned professor! He knows his material really well.
Cons: He speaks a little too fast when he's going over lecture material, which is pretty much a fill-in-the-blank activity. So, it is rather difficult to think about what he says because I am busy filling in the blanks.

Pros: Learned ALOT of material ... much more then I thought I would.
Cons: Studying for multiple hours a week is mandatory to receive a B- or above.
Very demanding class but well worth it at the end of the semester.
