This professor is a moron. I think she loves the sound of her own voice more then anything else. Her ta's were good, but I didn't like her. If you read the book most of the material is self explanatory.

Pros: Easiest class I have taken at purdue (it was an elective)
choice between participation or self study for grading
Cons: worst teacher I have ever had... ever. She does not know how to use technology, does not know the course. and her TA does everything. Grading rubric is ambiguous and never given to students
I would say to take this course for an easy A if you can study on your own, but Laura Downey may be the worst professor at Purdue
