Had him for PHYS 218: Homework due every week online on Sunday at midnight, labs for the class due every week on your lab day. Lectures were informative, but were boring and hardly ever coincided with the labs for the week. Tests were difficult because you have to understand concepts, not just know the formulas, but almost everyone does poorly and they're worth a lot of points. Luckily, end grades are curved at the end despite what he says in the beginning of the class. Personally, I never used the textbook, though I imagine it would have been helpful for understanding concepts. Tip: Google every hw/lab question you need help on - It has likely already been asked on Yahoo!Answers or the Physics Forum. For tests, find a friend that already took the class and ask to study their exams - a lot of questions are re-used.

Cons: He is better with research. Didn't help us at all and when asked questions he would act like they are dumb and get frustrated.
