Great Professor. You don't need the book at all- he even tells you so! All you need to do is take notes (go to each class) and then read them over a few times before the test and you're golden! There are only three tests, none cumulative. The professor is awesome, laid back and funny. The material is interesting. He gives extra credit that you just use common sense to do. No homework, no quizes. EASY!

Professor Matzel is one of my favorite professors I've encountered in the University. He makes his lectures interesting and funny, privileges those who attend class and stay throughout, and gives fair exams if you know the material and understand concepts. Application of concepts is vital. Definitely recommended, he's an exceptional Rutgers professor.
