ENGL 310
Literary Theory
Pros: Dr. Johnson is incredibly adept at explaining the very challenging theoretical and philosophical texts we read. He assigns important readings from primary texts.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Lit Theory is a tough class, but it will make all of your English classes easier.

Writing and Rhetoric
Pros: The reading in this class is as useful as the reading in WIT, and it will greatly increase your knowledge of the classical era, as well as help you in your writing. Dr. Johnson is a brilliant, remarkable professor.
Cons: I can think of no cons.
