ORPT 4030
Interdisciplinary Outdoor Educ

Pros: Fairly easy
Worked in groups
Cons: Confusing class- weren't sure what we were supposed to be learning.
Unorganized
We attempted to use the "experiential education" approach to the class. Didn't work so well. Really confusing what we were supposed to be learning. No organization, had no clue when things were due and what projects were we supposed to be working on.

Risk Management & Safety for Outdoor Recreation
4
Pros: Fairly simple assignments
Easy concepts
Project work not too bad
Cons: Repetitive
Slow moving class
I took this class from Jake Manning. (He wasn't in the option list) Fairly simple class. Just skim the chapters and write a summary. Earn simple points from that class and you'll be fine. The project wasn't too bad, he let us work in teams so that helped.
