Quizzes and Homework are for lab/recitation and in general, really easy. Wiles is a smart guy, but he doesn't really use class time effectively (at least in my opinion). The textbook is pretty helpful and I use it quite a lot. As for tests, he tends to word questions oddly, and thus, that makes them a little more difficult than they actually are considering the fact that he focuses more on the "big ideas" rather than actual details regarding the subject.

He tries too hard to make class entertaining that he doesn't really teach anything in class. Your class grade is based on how well you can teach yourself

Hard class. Read your book very carefully. Test questions are tricky and tests are really hard but you can do corrections to earn back 1/3 of the points. Wiles makes the lectures very interesting.

Cons: 4 tests make up the majority of your grade.
Pay attention in lecture.
