The professor is very helpful, encourages questions, and responds with information in less than 5 hrs, unless of course the inquiry is late. The homework assignments are performed on a Homework Manager system with McGraw Hill that allows students to critique and correct errors along the way. Homework assignments are due on Mondays, and the corresponding quizzes are due on Wednesday EVERY WEEK. There are two exams, mid and final. If you review the material and do the homework assignments, you should do fairly well. The key is to truly understand which accounts increase or decrease (credits/ debits) assets, liabilities, and owner's equity, for example. The quizzes and exams normally cover a few mathematical problems from the Homework assignments. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the instructor. Again, the instructor is very helpful! He usually answers the question on the discussion board to assist everyone or individually.

For accounting 501, Pearson's MyAccountingLab is used for 100% of the course. I highly recommend Prof. Duron.
