PHYS 208 - ELECTRICITY AND OPTICS
If you don't like the Don't Panic book, Bassichis is not for you (he's the author). The past exams have been very difficult from what I've seen, but this semester they weren't as bad.

He wrote the book so he expects you to "bleed sweat and cry" over it until you understand it. Be prepared to always hear about the Qdrop date and freshman grade exclusion. He never works a problem all the way through, saying that "from th...

He wrote the book so he expects you to "bleed sweat and cry" over it until you understand it. Be prepared to always hear about the Qdrop date and freshman grade exclusion. He never works a problem all the way through, saying that "from there its easy", when actually thats the part you needed help on. He is very sarcastic and funny, keeps it interesting. But this is a tough course, and a tougher prof.

Bassichis definitely knows what he is talking about, however he sometimes strays into random tangents, making him difficult to follow. If you can stay focused through the whole lecture you will be fine.

Cons: Super hard class. You need to read the book and understand what is going on. Quizzes every class, and they are over the book's problems/exercises.
