ANSC 107 - GENERAL ANIMAL SCIENCE
Dr. Holub is an awesome professor! He is so prepared and you have to buy a spiral with all of the notes from his slide shows that is so helpful (i never used the book). If you go to class and take notes and study you will do fine! I actually am going to miss this class!

ANSC 107 - GENERAL ANIMAL SCIENCE
His class is boring. If you are not going to be a farmer, do not take this class. Its stupid and he doesn't know what he is talking about. He is an expert in the farming stuff but he is quite stupid when it comes to the scientific stuff.

Very entertaining prof, who knows his stuff, and is very fair. His exams are easy, he tells you EXACTLY what's on his exam, and it's all multiple choice anyway. A good GPA booster.

Dr. Holub is an excellent prof. He really wants his students to do well in the course-- he gives the student plenty of opportunities for extra credit and to make an A.

Pros: very knowledgeable professor. His tests are easy and the quizzes are as well. The material he covers is on the power points but it is highly recommended that you get the book of notes for his class they really help. Oftentimes he emphasizes " what he would know" for the tests/quizzes. Overall fair professor and gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. He also gives a review session before the exams and you can find out what you should know by asking questions in a particular way. Also, attendance is taken and if you don't miss any days you don't have to take the final.

Ok, don't listen to the person who said he is stupid. Dr. Holub is in fact the opposite of stupid. This class is my favorite class I've taken this semester. He is helpful, friendly, and entertaining. The tests are so easy. Like in all honesty you can study the night before and make High A's. I recommend taking this class especially if you have a free elective you need to fill.

Pros: He is very organized, and reminds all students when quizzes will be, (even the random pop quizzes). He also is very good at detailing all the important points in his lectures to study.
Cons: Sometimes there is a lot to cover in one class, and he has to go pretty fast.
Take him for your ANSC 107, he not only actually teaches you, he brings live animals to class for his lectures!

Pros: Super Easy A. Go to class, pay attention to "flying pigs" and don't have to worry about the final.
Dr. Holub is good at making class fun, so you will probably enjoy going. A definite must take for everyone.

Pros: He gives a lot of extra credit and makes sure you know what's on the test. He also has test reviews and is very eager to help you learn in office hours and asking questions in class.
