Exceptional teacher even though he's a PhD student and will be graduating in May. I had his class last semester (HIST 105) and had myself forced into his class this semester. I cannot say enough about him teaching and his class is easy as long as you take lecture notes, as the tests are STRAIGHT from that. Amazing teacher...if he sticks around after graduating then definitely take his class!!

There is no extra credit because his tests are fairly easy as long as you pay attention to him during class and go to the class before the test, which is a review. The "pop quizzes" are discussions that are written out. Very interesting, very enthusiastic, and focuses on the main idea rather than dates.

Mallett is the best teacher i have ever had. Just go to class and listen and you shouldn't have to study at all. He makes reviews and goes over them in class which help alot. There are 5 essays in class but they aren't actually essays, they one to two sentences about simple subjects.

The best history professor I have ever had! I thought the class was going to be horrible because I had it at 8:00 in the moring MWF but he was absolutely amazing. He was not boring at all and he really knows how to keep you interested in the subject matter. I recommend taking him!!!

Pop quizzes just include attending class and writing your opinion to a certain question his asks. Tests are easy except for the final, and you just have to read the book for tests.

Easy A. Go to class, take good notes and study his notes intensively the night before the test and you'll get a High A. He makes the material interesting, really laid back guy.
