His lectures aren't bad, but they're not the most entertaining. There are in class assignments so you have to go to class for the most part, he drops three of them so you aren't screwed if you miss. His tests are very straightforward if you know the chapters and the review sheet you will do fine on the tests. I have an A with a moderate amount of effort. He also does homework assignments which are somewhat tedious but he drops two of those. There are 4 tests and a final. He also offers a 5th test right before the final that you can take to replace one of your first 4.

Dr. Schumacher is over all a good professor. He gives alot of in class quizzes but they are all open book and you may use your neighbor and an easy 100 to help out your grade. His homework is really easy as well. He drops the 3 lowest homework grades and quiz grades so he gives you a little cushion. He is a stickler on the rules (I once got a zero for a homework assignment because my paper wasn't stapled). His tests are pretty hard but if you study the book you will be fine.

The professor is a little boring, but there are some lectures that are pretty interesting. Bring your textbook to every class because he let's you use your textbook to answer the quiz at the end of class. Exam 2 and 3 contain some cumulative materials from previous exams. There is a makeup exam which is all cumulative and it replaces your lowest test grade. He gives a study guide on the topics that are going to be covered on the tests a week before the exam.

He's alright...A little boring. However he gives an open book quiz almost every class (his way of taking roll) and if you underline in the book the answers then you know what to study for the tests. He recycles questions and his tests are cumulative. He drops your 3 lowest daily grades, and gives an optional makeup test to replace your lowest test excluding the final. Overall a decent prof.

Great prof. You HAVE to attend class (you don't even have to pay attention) because there are random quizzes, however these quizzes are open book and VERY easy. There are powerpoint slides to go along with lecture, but you can also just study straight from the book! Fair Tests, if you read the book you will do well.

Great Prof!! If you attend class then it is really easy to do well. He does quizzes to check attendance but drops some of your lowest grades at the end of the term. (For us he gave a makeup exam to replace on and dropped our three lowest daily grades)

Pros: Great prof!!! He is extremely funny and helpful, so his lectures are never boring. He gives a lot of extra credit and cancels at least 2 or 3 classes. This class was an easy A for me.
Cons: He gives out quizzes each class meeting and while they are open book and thus grade boosters, we kept having to hunt down and spend money on several gray scantrons.

Pros: He's pretty funny and his tests are verbatim what the quizzes were. Like literally the same questions. Quizzes are open book and you can talk to your neighbor but they are almost everyday. He lets you make up one test and skip the final if you have an A or a B. I would take him.
