POLS 207 - STATE & LOCAL GOVT
Pros: You can get the notes from Notes N Quotes, so you don't have to attend class everyday. The tests are straight from what is discussed in class, and are overall pretty easy.
Cons: The slides she puts up with her notes lack in information. You really need to pay attention and take notes on what she says in addition to the powerpoint.

amazing professor!! very fair with her tests. doesn't try to trick you with weirdly worded questions or similar answer choices. straight forward. tells you everything you need to know. the book isn't needed at all. seriously, DO NOT spend your money on it because she tells you the first day that her tests are straight from lecture. the book is only suggested if you want to expand your own knowledge. if you don't even need this class, take her anyway for an easy gpr boost!! DO IT!!! she's awesome!!!

You do have to go to class, but if you go exams are a breeze. Notes are important, and are only available in class. She is interesting enough.

Cons: Tests are insane. She tests a lot of facts. You're very likely to fall for trick questions where you
Three tests, each worth 33% of the grade. Each test has 60 questions (30 multiple choice questions and 30 true false questions) but while this may sound pretty easy the tests were very hard. you're likely to get confused by the options where 2-3 may seem correct. Its very very hard to get an A, but pretty easy to make a B.

Pros: powerpoints=easy to copy material without listening
Cons: extra boring class, hard to listen to (although I feel that is typical to basic courses)
We were only given 3 tests and no extra work outside of the class. The first exam was not hard, but the second one changed in difficulty level. Ended up with a 79 and there was no curve. Admittely, did not study too hard though

Pros: No reading = no textbook! She suggests the book if you want to supplement your notes but her tests are all from lecture. Just go to class, take detailed notes, and you should do fine.
Cons: Any pols class will bore you to tears.

You don't need the book. Just go to class, and take down notes and it's easy to get an A. I would recommend this prof, tests are straight forward with no tricks
