Absolutely the best professor you will take at A&M. Very knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. The lab is hard but it will be no matter who teaches it. She gives pop quizzes occasionally but they are only for extra credit.

Great prof. I hate biology and I really liked this class. She knows what she's talking about and she knows how to make it interesting. She does a review before every exam and wants to get to know you one on one. Class is good but I really don't recommend getting an 8am. I also don't recommend taking a TR class. MAKE SURE YOU READ!!!! You won't know anything if you don't go to class and take lecture notes (really easy because she uses slides that you just copy). She had 2 pop quizzes sometime before each test which came from the book and each quiz is just one question. If you get one right, she adds a point to your overall grade in the class. Also, make sure you sit in the front. So much easier to pay attention.

Excellent prof! Plenty of extra credit opportunities, and she does her best to make bio interesting. The lab is the real time-consuming part of the class - weekly quizzes, difficult exams, and a couple projects.

She was a great prof. Tests were multiple choice and straightforward for the most part. The only negatives were the pop quizzes (which were easy if you read the book) and there was NO curve.

Pros: I took the class three years ago and I can say back then she was the best 112 prof for BIO. Just study ecery day a little bit, and go to the SI!
Cons: The lab will kill all hopes of an A.
