Pros: You don't need a book. Everything is based off what he says in class. You have three books to read and he gives out quizzes over each book, and each quiz is worth 20 points. He is my favorite teacher this semester and he is very easy to follow and is funny.
Cons: You have to go to class.
If you study, go to class, and read, you will get an A. He's a great professor and I wish I could take another one of his classes.

Pros: - Best history teacher I have ever taken!
- If you are an international student or you have a difficulty taking class notes, he will help you out.
- He cares about every student of his and will recognize your name. He will ask you how you are doing and all.
- He asks his TA's to be easy on grading
- If you do well on your exams, you don't need to take the final.
- He keeps the class active with participation so you will not fall asleep in this class.
Cons: - Very strict. If your phone rings, you are out. If he or his TA's find you on facebook or talking, they will put you on spot.

Pros: He doesn't take attendence but there is a seating chart. The quizzes are easy and can bring up a bad midterm. If you have perfect attendence and an A you're exempt from the final.
Cons: All the quizzes and exams are essay style. The midterm is hard. You pretty much have to go to class for notes.
He's not bad. I'd take him again.

Great enthusiastic professor! Keeps lecture pretty interesting considering the material. As long as you go to class and pay attention, there is no reason you shouldn't get an A. FYI take notes! His tests come straight from them.
