Pros: gives solid computer skills base
not too hard
rarely homework
usually leave like 20-30 minutes early
i got an A (barely)
Cons: a lot of typing notes
pretty much an assignment every class
He is a fair teacher, easier than other classes of his. A normal class consists of him lecturing with notes on screen, flipping back and forth with powerpoint or word or excel, etc... then we do an easy assignment based on the notes and usually leave early. You can finish up the assignment in class or at home (i always finished in class). There are two quizzes based on computer knowledge and use. The mid term was recreating the powerpoint that he puts on the screen (open notes). The final project was making a newsletter cover page on MS publisher. I would recommend it. 3000 level class, pretty easy, twice a week (for me) rarely had to do anything out of class. Spring '10 Junior in Communications (3.5 avg student)
