ARH 2050 - History of Western Art I
She is an OK teacher, but makes art history a dreadful subject by having you memorize trivial shit, instead of learning and applying the info. The tests are ridiculous on every level for a gen ed class.
Pros: There is a point to going to class...good notes.
Cons: Tests are ridiculous...30 seconds to answer each question. Have to know information like the back of your hand.

im not gonna lie this was a difficult course but zaho is so friendly and entertaining. it was a little intimidating at first but when you leave the class you know everything about everything! her exams took me 4 days of straight memorizing and during the tests you are rushed and you kind of feel your stomach in your throat. but like i said, its an amazing course if you love the renaissance masters!@

She talks really fast and you have to come to class or else you'll probably miss something thats on the test. She just talks and talks and by the end of the class you have to know 200 works of art. the final is not cumulative though, thank goodness. She is alright, but you haaaaaaaaaave to study.

Italian Renaissance Art

Pros: She knows a lot about Italian renaissance art, and can't fit it all into one semester.
Cons: Her exams are all writing. A lot of information for 2 exams. She still decides throughout the semester what 2 papers the students have to do that semester, including: a synopsis, research paper, non-research paper, background for a research paper, etc.
She stresses that everyone that is an art history major has to go to graduate school for museum studies.
