the exams are a little tricky but as long as you go to class and read the book you'll do fine. make sure to take good notes because he bases his exams off his notes, then use the book to sure up your knowledge about the material

Professor Spurling is an awesome teacher. He makes the law, which at times can be boring, relevant to college students and their everyday lives. Definitely take his courses!

Best professors I've ever had!
Professor Spurling is definetly the man to take business law 275 with. He made the class very interesting and the lectures never really seemed as long as they really were...involves all his students in the lectures. His exams are almost the entire grade and are hard, but with enough effort you can do well. Got me real interested in business law.

Overall a good guy. Got me really interested in law. If you come to class and read the book there is no reason you shouldn't do good in this class.Classes arent that boring either so it isnt to bad. His tests are pretty simple multipule choice.

Notes/lecture is confusing
Spurling is a good professor but his tests are not that easy. There are a lot of tricky questions. And even though he says to just pay attention in class, make sure you read the book because he gets some material from the book that he doesnt cover in class.

this guy is money. Gives you all of the answers you need for the test. You DO have to go to class...reading is very limited.

Notes/lecture is confusing
The tests are multiple choice, but many questions are not straight forward. He doesn't seem to know what he is talking about half the time.
