This class was awful. He was new this year so he really had no clue what he was doing. He doesn't teach the classes, he just writes the test. Your taught by a TA, who's first language most likely isn't English. You will learn absolutely NOTHING in class, its pointless to go. The homework in MyItLab suck. There are several bugs in the system, and it frequently will tell you you've done an "incorrect action" and not let you move on when in reality you're doing it right. My advice is to start the assignments BEFORE the night they are do in case this happens to you. Other than that.. good luck with CGS 2531.

Terrible at communication. Only TA worth seeing is Nuri Yeleran. He give exam prep guides and PowerPoints before the exams. Not a difficult class to get an A in, Bermudez is just inconsiderate. Cancels office hours constantly, moves exams around halfway through the semester. Be ready to move your schedule around...

He is a horrible professor. Most of his TA's don't even know the material and just read off the powerpoints from myITlab. His exams are nothing like the material taught in class and the homework does not help teach it whatsoever. Also, he never bothers to have office hours.

Pros: NONE!

Cons: A professor that is rude and is never willing to explain or help. He doesn't even teach the class his self. Also a ton of TAs who straight up tell you that they don't care if you understand, they just need the credit.

This class if AWFUL!!! Do not take it unless you have to!

Its okay. We learned how to save documents in Microsoft Word for the first week. The TA's aren't that good but since the material is so easy it doesn't matter.

Cons: the ta's teach the class and they aren't very good at it

i didn't even go to class all semester and am most likely getting a b possibly a b+ in the course

Pros: Relatively easy Hw

Cons: Tests are different from HW

Sometimes Hw program is unrelaible

Overall great class but I had a TA that couldn't speak English fluently which hindered my progress in the class.

Pros: The class homework and exams are online. Even if you don't get a high score you can review your submission and it tells you exactly what you did wrong. I never went to class.

You can ace this class if you study very hard. Just go to tutoring zone and memorize literally everything
