CHM 2045 - GENERAL CHEMISTRY
Cons: Gower offers help on deciding to take the class or his outlook on how you'll do, but then doesn't follow through. He uses all powerpoints from 5 years ago and sometimes seems like he doesn't even know chemistry!

Pros: The tests are pretty predictable based on previous semester exams, so if you know the material you should do well. Gower is also really friendly and his quizzes were online for Spring 2011 (not sure if this will be the trend for future semesters).
Cons: The class sizes aren't very small so if you want to ask Gower questions, you'll have to do it during office hours or wait in a long line after class.

Pros: Nice guy. His quizes were easier than some of the other CHM2045 professors.

I would choose him over all the other CHM2045 professors.
Cons: Sometimes hard to pay attention during lectures.

Pros: Best Teacher to take for Chem 1. Study hard and practice a lot and you will do fine, I got an A
Cons: The Chem dept. at UF is really stepping up. Watch out for the final, it is tough

Pros: Gower is nice and approachable if you have any questions. He keeps you awake with his stories and jokes.
Cons: His quizzes are fine just as long as you study. But his exams are created by a couple of professors, so it is good to be prepared for questions of different "styles".

Cons: He doesnt write the tests, all test are the same for chm2045. course material is rigorous. if you dont read before going to class, its not as helpful.

Good chem teacher with easy quizzes. The lectures are boring, but that's cuz it's chem, he's actually a funny guy.
