Pros: Not much work to do.
Cons: Only complete the activities in the class. Never any other type of help.

You get out of this class what you put into it. I took notes on the book and did the homework we were assigned and I have a 93 going into the final. The tests do require some studying for as well as the quizes and the projects are in class skits. Some of these were hysterical! The oral exam is the spawn of satan! make sure you have a good partner for that one. Even though the class was at 440-530 MF and 500-550 TR Casadont really makes it an enjoyable time. Just do your work and participate regularly and it will be one of your favorite classes! :]

Pros: He is nice, helpful when you ask for it, and doesn't make you do too many stupid assignments that aren't counted as a grade like other Spanish teachers do.
Cons: He doesn't provide an outline to the tests and quizzes like other Spanish teachers do.
Just memorize vocabulary and the general grammatical concepts of each chapter, and you will seriously be fine. I got an A and I don't think I paid attention once in class.

Pros: Casadont is a very nice man and teaches with enthusiasm. He likes when students aren't afraid to volunteer and speak up, so do that. He also will go around the room and call on people to read or answer things so everyone is engaged and involved. Tests are medium difficulty.
Cons: No extra credit. Lots of Quia homework AND he would assign book homework. But it wasn't super hard homework.

Pros: AWESOME.

laid back class. very helpful. Wants you to do well.

easy quizzes.
Cons: ummm, none !

he's a great teacher, but the online workbooks you have to do for the class take forever but are helpful...
He finds it very disrespectful to miss his class without telling him in advance. If you tell him in advance, your absence is excused and wont affect your grade.

Pros: easy content, quizzes, and tests
Cons: attendance is required
He is very nice and genuinely loves teaching. He will work with you if you're having problems and he tries to make sure everyone understands the material before he moves on. Great experience, definitely the best Spanish teacher I've ever had.

Professor Casadont is a great spanish teacher. I can understand him and he was always willing to help the students. He was really understanding, unlike some teachers, towards Spanish not being our native language and he focused more on us practicing the language than grading us on our perfection.

Pros: Explains the material well and goes over it again if need be. Goes straight from the book so it's easy to study and know exactly what's on his quizzes and tests.
Cons: Takes attendance very seriously.
There are not many tests, just five or six quizzes and a mid term and final.

Pros: He is a fun teacher who really cares about his students.

He speaks in english most of the time.
Overall Professor Casadont was a great teacher. For me not to have taken spanish in four years he helped me out a lot and I still got a good grade.

Pros: Extremely nice teacher! Always willing to help and talks slowly so its easy to understand. He goes over what will be on the tests and seems to really care about helping students do well.
Cons: -very strict on attendance

Great guy too, great sense of humor and makes class fun and interesting!
Cons: Lots of homework, but helps with material

Mr. Casadont is a great professor. He speaks clearly and slowly do that students understand the language. He is easy to talk to and really wants to see his students succeed.
