Pros: Dr. Dustman is a wonderful professor! While her teaching style seems elementary during lecture, it was much appreciated when it came to test time. She always answers questions thoroughly in class and really makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. Exams weren't that bad. Most questions were straight from the powerpoints or took some application from the slide material. There are 4 exams, the 4th given during finals, but is not cumulative. The 3 highest scores are taken so if you do well on the first 3, you don't have to take the 4th. She gives a fair amount of extra credit, as well. I don't recommend buying the book because you can do very well in the class with just the slides.
Cons: Sometimes lecture is boring because of how thorough she is. One of the TAs in my section was on a power trip, but you don't really have to deal with them unless there is a grading issue.

Pros: Dr. Dustman is a great teacher! She tries to make everything understandable in lecture. The tests are hard if you don't study the powerpoints and take notes in class, but you don't need the book at all because the slides she posts are very detailed. She also randomly, but sometimes gives an extra credit pop quiz every now and then.
There are some in-class group assignments throughout the semester, but they aren't very hard.

Pros: Extra credits really helped my grade out. It's graded based on efforts not whether it's correct or not. She's also really nice when you go see her at her office hours. She tries her best to help you understand the materials and give you study tips when you asks.
I like her :)

Pros: Only lab I have ever enjoyed, and believe me I hate labs. Very well structured and the class prepares you well for the tests and practicals. Midterm and Final were not that difficult if you study.

Pros: Cool professor and very approachable. Gives A TON of extra credit in class, SO GO TO CLASS! The extra credit helps so much in the end. I didn't even have to take the final!
Cons: Tests are difficult, but if you can memorize every word on a powerpoint then you're golden. The worst part is that her tests are out of 35 points, so miss 2 or 3 multiple choice questions and there goes your A on that test.

Cons: Her classes are earlier in the mornings.
Her tests are usually multiple choice and short answer questions.

Pros: Dr. Dustman is funny and highly approachable. Does a great job making her students feel welcome rather than brushing them off.
Cons: Practical questions can be tricky, so be careful.
Fun lab. Not a whole lot of work compared to chem and ochem. Individual labs are not graded. A much more fun and relaxed atmosphere than I was used to in labs.

Pros: Explains difficult material very thoroughly. Test material straight from lecture slides (never read the book and still got an A). Not an easy A, but with a little effort you will get the A. Lots of extra credit opportunities and can drop a test grade (including final).
Don't buy textbook. Waste of money.
