You wouldn't think this class could be hard. The material seems straight foward and easy. This professor does the unthinkable and turns something easy into very hard and mind boggling. I absolutely hated this class!! The teacher is nice but for some reason she finds it necesary to make this class very difficult. I studied very hard for each test reading the book and the notes and making a study guide and after every test I would feel like I made atleast a B and would wind up getting F's D's and C's! Do not take unless you have too!!!

I wasn't interested in marketing before the class and I am still uninterested. The class was boring lecture after boring lecture.

Pros: Gives around 2-3 extra credits for each test (around 1 multiple choice), but don't be fooled by that.
Cons: Her exams are unnecessary hard. She asks 40 multiple questions, 3 short answers and 1 essay question. Her multiple choice questions are both tricky and seem to have more than one right answer to it. She asks about every detail in the book, expect to be asked about everything. She HARSHLY grades her essay questions.
She seems like an nice lady, but she fails to make the class interesting. She has an annoying pitch and its really hard to stay sane in her class.
Don't get fooled by the extra credit she gives. The extra credit she gives will only make you feel slightly better for a moment, but the chances are the you will feel horrible anyways.

Pros: She gives out about 4 bonus points for every test, so if you go to class you're almost guaranteed to get those. Emmelhainz makes the material very interesting and applicable, one of my favorite professors so far at UGA.
Cons: Tests are not exactly easy. If you study its not hard to get a B or B+, but it takes a little extra effort to get that A.
Very fair class and tests. One of my favorites this far.

Pros: Easy material, She's really nice and wants you to understand the material. Doesn't try to trick you or intentionally design the exams to fail you. Offers lots of extra credit assignments for the attendance so go to class
Cons: Lots of chapters covered on each test, she doesn't answer any questions at all during exams

Pros: Tries to keep the class as entertaining as possible and keep students involved.
Cons: It's a dry, straight forward introduction to marketing.
Good opportunities for a few bonus points on each of the tests. It does stink that the only grades in that class are tests, though. Go to class, read the book, you'll be fine.

Cons: Tests are extremely picky. She tests on the small aspects of everything. Whether that be lectures, book, or guest speakers. Some of the test comes straight from the book, of which she doesnt include in her lectures.
