Kelley is really cool and is really into this class. I would take him again just because I like the way he teaches.
Attendance isn't mandatory and if you're happy with your grade at the end of the semester you don't have to take the final.

Pros: He is a very passionate teacher. He gets the class involved and lectures about issues from the past through the present. I enjoyed him very much
Cons: He can be very opinionated, but usually calls himself out on it. Overall it turns into a pro
Great class. The book is not very hard to read and the material is just like and Social Studies class. The tests are difficult but he drops the lowest one so if you do well on the first three you don't have to take the final.

Lectures are not too exciting but he is nice and helps if you are confused.

Pros: really into what he's teaching. energetic teaching style. sometimes he shows movies in class (they will be on tests though)
Cons: when you get into free trade agreement stuff some of the information gets blended in with his liberal views and it's hard to tell what is fact and opinion
7 attendance pop quizzes that are pretty much writing down your name, so if you go to class its a pro. smart, nice guy. very approachable, but a little arrogant so make sure you're asking a question and not questioning him.

Pros: This class was really easy! As long as you pay attention to lecture and do the book readings you should be able to pass the tests. I hardly ever studied for this class and came out with an A-. But you HAVE to read. Final Exam is optional, if you take the first three tests and you are satisfied with your grade. Kelly is very enthusiastic during his lectures as well. He'll definitely keep you up!
Cons: LOTS AND LOTS OF READING!

This class was really easy for me, but I did most of the readings where most people didn't. Kelley's a cool guy, just super outspoken about his opinions which can be good or bad.
