HIST 104
American Civilization Since the Late Nineteenth Century
5*****
Pros: Study guides tell you exactly what is on the exams. General notes given in class about the information in assigned readings
Cons: Exams are easy, but too long to get coherent essays done.
Professor Salzmann is a fair teacher. Read the text, and you will be fine. All tests and quizzes are essay format. They are very easy, but there is a lot to do which constricts how creative and detailed you can be in your answers. Very nice professor and knowledgeable.

This class is typically what you expect. Learning how to write a quality upper division paper. The class can get a little dry at 3 hours long, but professor Salzmann realizes this and usually lets the class go 30 minutes early. Awesome professor and an overall good guy for any history class.
