She's your only choice

Curtis is not the worst teacher, but she's far from great. She will cover parts of the course that aren't that important and might have 2 questions on the exams in depth. But on subjects that are the most important and are the main parts of the exams, she will skip through the slides thinking you can write paragraphs of notes in seconds. She throws you off to the deep end to teach yourself parts of the course, which is ok, but she doesn't give you the materials to teach yourself. You basically have to grab a friend who has done it before to walk you through it.The textbook is worthless, and the notesbook will be helpful but the examples it gives you are vague compared to the projects. She will offer a lot of extra credit and add a curve to the final grade. If you get D's on every exam you are going to get a B as a final grade and staying around the average will get you a B+ or A-. Kinda screwed up but her exams are ridiculously hard.

Professor Curtis is the most horrendous teacher I've ever had the pleasure of (not) learning from. Going to class was the biggest waste of time, except for the fact that she gives easy extra credit in lecture. During lecture she rambles on and on about absolutely nothing. DON'T ASK HER QUESTIONS... you'll waste about 20 minutes of your time listening to her go off on a tangent about her kids or some irrelevant bullshit. Not to mention you'll never receive an answer. Overall, she's the worst teacher ever and needs to be fired.... thank unions for that.

Curtis is a joke. She dances, sings, and swears so I guess if you like learning at a fifth grade level you would like her. She honestly cannot teach at all and makes everything much harder than it really needs to be. Basically try to not pay attention in class because she will just confuse you more, learn the material some other way. Go to class though because shes always giving extra credit

Cons: she is kinda crazy, and her teaching methods left many students more confused than simply reading the material

do not take this class unless you need it; read the book and consult others if you need help learning the material, because she does not teach it effectively

Tonnes of extra credit. Lectures are a joke. To do well, get a good TA, do shit load of past exams and ask ur TA for things u dont understand.

Pros: Regardless of what some people may say shes a very nice women willing to help, you just have to reach out to her.

Cons: Her tests are very open ended and the questions are unclear often times.

Unless you are accy major don't take this course

stick to the class, dont pay attention to grades, just pay attention to learning, it will help in the long run especially once the final comes around

Very unprofessional. Was not fair one bit, and showed no courtesy towards the students. Was very condescending.
