Kindt is extremely knowledgeable especially on gambling. He is interesting to listen to because he has a lot of stories from his own experiences. Going to class is real necessary but the study sessions are DEFIANTLY mandatory. The TA's go over almost of the exam. Kindt also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities so if you do bad on an exam you can easily recover. The class is fully weighted on tests so no hw, quizzes, or projects which is nice if you have a full class load.

He is a professor who is full of himself. He always talk about his stuffs. You will see his lectures are useless, only his TA's reviews are all you need for exams. The first exam is really easy, the final is the hardest one. He will give out a lot of extra credits, but the points he gave is not really fair. Because he only give full points to the people he knows/like. At the end, he will curve. (that's what I heard from the TAs)

Pros: He is pretty funny at times, this is a fun and easy class.
Cons: You will get lost...because the class is very disorganized. I'm not sure how much he will curve or how much credit he will give to me at the end of the class because he is so ambiguous about grades.

Pros: not much work until test time
Cons: incredibly confusing, horribly laid out course. I honestly don't know if Kindt is qualified to teach. He's quite a smart and talented man, but has no propensity for helping students learn
