The class should not be difficult, but I feel that the teacher doesn't teach it too well. If any individual takes this class without a background in AP Biology, I think they will have to spend a considerably large amount reading and teaching theme-selves. The lecture makes everything seem so easy, but once the test comes a lot of people regret not teaching themselves the material more thoroughly than the professor.

Professor Marcot is an average teacher. This is his second year teaching and he kinda grasps the concepts, but kind of not too. The information he teaches is kind of monotonous at times, in fact you could probably learn the information yourself if you just looked over his slides and supplemented it with the book. If you have taken AP Bio in high school do not take this class--just a waste of time. You will more than likely think the whole class is busy work.

Lectures have all the information you need.

Very little to read.

Cons: Doesn't explain iclicker questions.

Cons: Tests are nothing like practice problems, PLQ's, etc. Need to study more than thought.
